Tornado Time
Last night, Joe called me from San Diego (he's out there for a conference and some golf!) to check in. I had one eye on the TV (severe storms/tornado warmings) while I was talking to him. Kaitlyn came running into the bedroom to tell me that the tornado sirens were going off. If you know Joe, you know he loves to talk on the telephone. I finally had to tell him to shut up because I needed to get in the closet - and eventually I had to hang up on him. He called back on Kaitlyn's cell phone; she was in the closet with me, and goes nowhere without that phone attached to her hand. We were lucky - we live on the west side of Norman and the "lowering" was on the east side, but all the sirens go off no matter where you live. No damage, just another night in tornado alley!

Scary! Glad everything is OK!!!!
That is really scary. Thank goodness you have sirens that go off. We don't have that here. If you are not keeping up with the weather on the tv or listening to the radio I guess you are just sol. I remember we had sirens that would go off when we lived in Spartanburg, but apparently you are on your own here.
Love, Merry
