So far this month, I haven't done too much. With my bonus I got from Jann I bought Joe and I a bigger TV for our bedroom (36 incher). I also went to this play the other night. It was long and sort of boring but the costumes were exquisite. It was performed in the round and I had a front row seat so I got an up close and personal view of all the costumes. The queens costumes were just undescribable. I would love to make something like them.
I sent the latest prayer shawl I completed to a friend that I graduated from high school with (Bille Beth Tezza). She had to have part of her foot removed due to diabetes. She was one of the popular girls in high school and I didn't really know her until we went to USC-S together. Many years later she contacted me and practically begged me to come to our 30th HS reunion but at the time I couldn't. She sent me pictures and told me all about it. I received a really nice thank you note yesterday from her telling me how I had lifted her spirits by sending her the shawl. I'm so glad I did.
Here's how far I've gotten on the Entrelac scarf. I got off on the rows the other day so I have had to put it on hiatus for awhile. It's going to take me forever to finish it. I've only started the 2nd skein and I have another one to go.

I went to a crochet class on Saturday. I've taken a class before about 6-7 years ago but I had totally forgotten how. I would like to crochet a shawl but I need lots of practice. This is a dishcloth I'm making. I'm a little more than halfway through.
While Joe was hunting this weekend, Kristen, Kaitlyn and I had a wonderful girls day yesterday. We went to the city to shop for a suit for Kaitlyn to interview for entrance to Dental Hygiene school. I took them to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and Kristen spent the night at our house last night. She took me to lunch today at Bison Witches (where Kaitlyn works) before going home. While we were in Macy's I decided to look for some more perfume for me. Since it's Valentines all the stores have specials. For $82.00 I got this Ralph Lauren Romance set, with the necklace and DOZEN ROSES TOO. That's a pretty good price for all that. It was my present to myself. haha
