You guessed it. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, A LOT. They're saying our area may only get 1-3 inches but the panhandle may get over a foot. Agghhh! Just when I thought it was really spring! I am so NOT looking forward to this.
In other news, last night Kaitlyn got an award (along with 2 other pom girls) from the Norman Athletic Association (NAA) and The Norman Transcript (our newspaper) for 2009 Outstanding Athlete in Pom. This was the first year they have EVER recognized the cheer and pom girls (even though they probably put in more hours for practice than any other sport AND they have to go to almost every sport to cheer for both boys and girls games/matches). She was unable to attend (she had to work), Joe was unable to attend (had to get a haircut), so I went up and accepted her award. It was a very nice placque but her name was misspelled (Kailyn) so I left it there to be fixed. Tonight is the annual pom dinner for the girls and their parents. They will give out gag awards between themselves and get a DVD of their year's efforts. The parents just get free food. So I may have pictures to post later; depends on how well the girls cooperate.
