I've been really busy the past several days. I worked at Kohl's A LOT! Joe helped Kristen move into her apartment. I did get to go over there on Sunday evening, but her room was still kind of messy so I didn't take any pictures of the inside. I did, however, take a picture of her apartment building. She is on the second floor and her room is to the left of the screened porch (between the two trees). Of course, when she saw me take the picture she started accusing me of being a "creeper." Oh well!
Joe and I and Kaitlyn with 2 of her friends went to the lake on Saturday. We had a good time. Everyone (but me) tried out the wakeboard and most of them got up and went for a little ways. Kaitlyn got up the easiest but Joe rode for the longest time.
Here is a copy of my mantra lately - it's a sign I found at Hobby Lobby and I hung it over my kitchen door so I can see it every day.

OK, you've got two totally hot daughters and you just told everybody where one of them lives....
I know K will love living in an apt. Boy did I. It does require to be a little independent though. I think it was good for me to learn how to take care of myself and to manage money. I paid for everything myself and really had to learn how to budget. I can remember my roommate buying our sofas at Salvation Army (ick!) and I bought a $99 tv cabinet from Walmart. I didn't have a bed or dresser for almost a month. I slept on a borrowed twin size futon on the floor with my clothes in a laudry basket until I got my first pay check.
I learned how to make pasta in the microwave and I remember eating lots of P-nut butter sandwichs and cans of corn. I also had this theory that it was super healthy to eat a king size snickers bar with a glass of OJ. I had my Vit.C, protein, calcium and fat for the day. HA!
