Zumba and other things

I finally got my own computer back. Michael was a sweetheart and cleaned it up for me so now I can get back to blogging, etc. Here were the little dresses I sent to Crystal to use for a mobile or wall hanging or whatever she wanted to in Audrey's nursery.

I went to the Burn The Floor play at the OKC Civic Center and enjoyed it immensely. It was almost all Latin dancing. Loved it!

I've been to 2 zumba-thons over the last 2 weeks. They are fundraisers for good causes. The sessions are usually 2 hours long. I last anywhere from 1 hour to 1 hr 15 mins before I tire out. This is a picture of the first one, held at a mall in one of the empty large spaces. I was at the front of the room, but took the picture from the back as I was leaving. You can barely see the instructors on the stage.

This past weekend, I was 2nd in line to get in. I like to get on the front row. These ladies were around me and so we all took our pictures together.

I enjoy Zumba very much and would go every day if there was a class time convenient for me. I don't like to go much past 6:30 or so. It does tend to wear me out. I've even tried jogging a little bit at the YMCA and in our neighborhood. But now I have shin splints from running on the concrete so I think I'll lay off that for awhile.

Kaitlyn's Application Picture

Michael took this picture of Kaitlyn for her to use with her application to the School of Dental Hygiene at the OU Health Sciences Center. Michael's a good photographer, don't you think?

Fancy Cakes, Etc.

Haven't been doing much since the new year started. This past week, Jann and I got an idea from another agent and had a picture made with a cake so we could make custom Birthday Cards for her clients. One of the cake stores in town (Fancy Cakes, Etc.) let us come in and take a picture with one of their "fake" cakes. We bought some balloons and party horns to use as props. Anyway, I think this is the picture we're using for our birthday cards this year.

Today, I'm going to Oklahoma City to see the stage version of "Burn the Floor." It's a Latin/ballroom dance production. It's like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars combined with no judges. I can't wait. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't start snowing/sleeting until I get back home.
